Support Back to School 2024-25

It's not too early to start planning for the next school year. NCPS will be holding our 3rd Annual Back to School Parking Lot Party on Monday, August 12 beginning at 5 p.m. We appreciate past support and would love for you to participate this year. We ask that you respond to confirm your participation and plan to set up by 4:30 p.m. on the day of the event.

We can't wait to see you as we welcome back our students for the 2024-2025 school year.

IRS Alert: Self-Employment Tax Credit

IR-2024-187, July 15, 2024 — The IRS issued a consumer alert today following bad advice circulating on social media about a non-existent “Self Employment Tax Credit” that’s misleading taxpayers into filing false claims.

World War II in the Pacific Weekend

August 24-25, 2024, 9am-5pm Daily

This living history event brings to life the experiences of fighting in the Pacific Theater and the home front during World War II. Guests will have the chance to learn from living historians portraying soldiers who fought in the Pacific Theater and about different aspects of a soldier’s life including weapons, signals and communications, and tactical demonstrations.

Partner museums to include the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, MacArthur Memorial, U.S. Army Quartermaster Museum, U.S. Army Ordnance TSF, U.S. Army Women’s Museum and the Virginia War Memorial will have displays and more for visitors to see and experience. Presentations by authors and historians will be throughout the weekend.
