When a Smaller School is Better

Please allow me to shine a spotlight on one of our graduating seniors. Daniel Ibrahim will be graduating from Hillcrest Christian School one month from today. He has been an incredible blessing to HCS, and HCS has blessed Daniel. Daniel scored in the top 2% nationally on his PSAT exam, accumulated college credits through AP and Dual enrollment classes, played on our varsity basketball team all four years, played a lead role in our high school musicals, and served on our student government and as an ambassador for our new students. Being a part of a small school, Daniel could do all these things and become the outstanding, well-rounded student that colleges and universities desire. If he were at a large public high school, he likely would have had to choose one or two areas to try and specialize in.

Daniel’s dual enrollment and AP classes typically consisted of five to ten high-achieving students in a class, which allowed for lots of interaction and personalized and advanced instruction.

We are eager to see God's plans for Daniel in the future.
