Dear St. Michael-St. Gabriel Families and Friends,
Our students were able to enjoy a much needed break from testing as we hosted our annual Color Run! This is always such a fun-filled event for everyone, and we wish to thank all of our parents who helped with today’s event. We wish to also thank Mrs. Price for helping to coordinate this event each year!
Next week we should be able to wrap up the last of our ILEARN testing. Just this week, Grades 3 and 7 were able to complete their exams; however, there may be a few students left to do a few makeups because of their absences. Grades 4-6 are still completing their third ILEARN testing, and about half of our eighth graders still need to take their biology assessment.
Monday is our April birthday celebration, so those students with a birthday in April may bring in a small treat to share with their students, and they may also dress down that day. Wednesday is our next school dress down day. For $2, students may wear baseball-theme attire that day. All proceeds go to support the 8th grade trip.
Finally, next Thursday is our All School Liturgy and May Crowning. For this Mass, we will ask both our second grade and eighth grade students to dress up, as they will process in as part of the May Crowning event. All are welcome to join us at 8:15 a.m.
