MAIN MESSAGE

Senior Moments

It’s been a GREAT year of activities and fun — but just because our last meeting is May 7, it does not mean the PTSA is done! PTSA has many great activities planned during 2024 Grad Week, including the final Staff Luncheon on June 5, lunch for the seniors on June 5, brunch for the seniors on June 6, and the grand finale of SAFE AND SOBER GRAD NIGHT 2024 on June 7 at 10:00 p.m. sharp! Seniors: Buy your tickets for Grad Night

What Gives?

You may have heard that Sequoia PTSA is SHSEF funded. But then you see fundraisers on campus or in the Sentinel, such as hot chocolate at football games or the selling of evergreen wreaths in the winter. What gives?!?

Does the PTSA fundraise, or is the PTSA funded? Well, Yes, and Yes:

Last But Not Least

Join us for the FINAL PTSA meeting of the year on Tuesday May 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR).

SHSEF

Volunteer, donate funds &/or just learn more about the Foundation

As you know, at Sequoia High School Education Foundation (SHSEF) we raise funds for college services, academic enrichment programs, staff professional development, and student and family support. More specifically, that translates to things like lowering class size for 9th graders, getting new equipment to the Chem lab, and helping to organize the Prom Gallery.

Whether you volunteer time or give funds (many people do both!), you are making a difference for Sequoia's student body. Get involved today.

Help SHSEF support students, staff, families

Did you know Sequoia High School Education Foundation (SHSEF) supports staff, projects and programs to ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their highest potential? We raise funds for college services, academic enrichment programs, staff professional development, and student and family support. Donate today.

Freshman, Sophomore and Junior Parents: We need your help! Chaperone Grad Night - Friday June 7th, 2024

The Class of 2024 is celebrating their Grad Night on a Hornblower Bay Cruise, and we need a team of adult chaperones to join the fun. Since our Seniors don't want their parents there, we need parents of Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors to chaperone.

A few reasons to chaperone:

  • Ask a bestie, spouse, or other family member to have fun with you!
  • Find out what the hype is all about!
  • Get a preview of what you’ll be preparing for when your student is a Senior!
  • Pay it forward!
  • HAVE AN AMAZING TIME!

Depart Sequoia at 11:00pm on Friday June 7th, and return to Sequoia at 4:00am on Saturday, June 8th Sign up Here!

Seniors: The clock is ticking! Get your tickets for Grad Night

Class of 2024 families: Tickets are on sale for the Grad Night Midnight Cruise! $125 includes food, dancing, games, views, and FUN! 10:00 p.m.: Grads meet at Sequoia and board buses to Hornblower Pier for an evening cruise around the San Francisco Bay. 4:00 a.m.: Grads return to Sequoia.
