JULY 2024

National Make A Difference to Children Month is observed in July. The month raises awareness about the vulnerability any child in the world can face if they do not have the right person in their lives to guide them. Children, being pure of heart and still lacking experience about life, need guidance to choose the right paths. An SKSF foster family reflects on how important it is to make a positive difference in the lives of children. Take a peek at SKSF's new 2024 promotional video introducing the Woodson foster family.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF FOSTER CHILDREN

Becky Wyzykowski founder of Cases of Love once again has organized a back to school drive for the children in SKSF's foster care program. These supplies are so valuable to families helping foster children prepare for school in the fall. We appreciate the efforts of all the donors that have contributed to this drive and wish Becky the very best in moving forward on her next adventure in life!

BUILDING CONNECTIONS SHARING GARDEN SKILLS

Recently, Adult Day Program clients had the opportunity to partner with "Our House", another local adult day program, to share knowledge and skills learned about gardening. The clients enjoyed meeting new people and making connections. They worked together on two activities and took a tour of the Our House gardens. Everyone enjoyed the experience and we plan on showing them our gardens next time!
