30 days with Rev. Blair Boyd Zant
~ a look back & a look ahead ~

Hello, Beloveds!
This week, we marked 30 days of life together as church and pastor. I want to celebrate with you what we’ve seen, heard, experienced, and accomplished together so far. Let me start by offering a word of thanks. On my first Sunday in July, you showered my family and me with such a warm and gracious welcome. My husband and I loved getting to share communion with you, and our daughters were especially grateful for the gifts of food and invitations to upcoming church events that they received. After worship, you filled the fellowship hall for lunch together, and then filled dozens of snack bags for community children. What a way to start, Church.

Two nights later, 60 of you came back and led me through several hours’ worth of stories and history and concerns and hopes… insights that otherwise might have taken me months to collect. You also allowed me to address some of the questions you had about me and about what God may have in store for both of us in this next chapter.
Of note, you posed this question: “What’s going to be (my) priority for the first 30 days?”
. . .
Click here for Rev. Zant's response to that question
and to read her complete 30 day message.
