St. Bernards Life Issues Series!

You're invited to St. Bernard’s School of Theology and Ministry's first

Inaugural Life Issues event!


Join pro-life organizations, academic institutions, as well as individuals from upstate New York to discuss a variety of life issues with keynote speaker, Michael Sauter.


The evening will commence with a cocktail hour and library tours, followed by a catered dinner and keynote address, a panel of life-issues experts and Q&A session, as well as the opportunity to bid on classic books signed by national pro-life authors. Funds raised will benefit students and life-related activities at St. Bernard’s School of Theology & Ministry.

Kylie Gallegos

Kylie is a recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame where she studied theology and American Studies with honors. She was the president of Notre Dame Right to Life, the largest and oldest pro-life student group in the nation, supporting over 725 members. She has worked in various capacities for National Right to Life, Oklahomans for Life, the Sisters of Life, BirthRight, and EWTN Pro-Life Weekly.

Michele Sterlace, JD, LLM

FCLNY's very own

Executive Director!  Michele received her JD degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a Masters of Law in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Law School. She also serves as an Attorney for Children, with the NYS Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department.

Fernando Ontiveros, Ph.D

Dr. Ontiveros is an Associate Professor of Biology at St. John Fisher University, President of the Agathon Institute, and a member of the Finger Lakes Guild of the Catholic Medical Association. He has completed certificate coursework in Bioethics from Georgetown and Harvard Universities and is a member of the Ethics Committee at Strong Memorial Hospital.
