Superintendents received advice on updating social media policies to align with recent legal rulings, aiming to mitigate risks and clarify acceptable online behavior for staff.

Empowering Future Leaders: High School Students Raise Over $1M in Record-Breaking Fundraising Campaign for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

GCSSA is thrilled to partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) for the Student Visionaries of the Year program, a seven-week fundraising competition for elite high school students in Cleveland and nationwide. This initiative allows students to enhance their leadership and presentation skills while organizing and executing fundraising campaigns. Teams work in honor of local young blood cancer patients, with the top fundraising team named Student Visionary of the Year in Northeast Ohio. Last season, 37 Cleveland teams raised over $1M, setting a new fundraising record.


Program Kickoff: Friday, January 17, 2025

Grand Finale: Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Windows on the River
