IDENTITIES CONCEALED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES

God's Goodness in Troubling Times

Dear Ministry Partners,

Greetings in the precious name of Jesus Christ! I trust and pray that you are all doing well at home and work during this challenging time. Our Almighty God is above all disasters; He has the power to calm storms and restore peace. May His wonderful presence be with you during this tumultuous season.

I am grateful to the Lord for the opportunity to lead a Teacher Training Workshop. Two pastors, along with church leaders and ministers, attended and were deeply touched by the biblical principles of relationship and discipleship. They now see how the Lord's redemptive ministry is revealed through the heroes of faith in the Bible and are preparing to begin the training soon.

Pastor M and his family are safe and secure despite the massive flood damage. He managed to reach the top of a mountain after the flood to call me. We took some time to share God’s goodness and encouragement from His Word.

He expressed the challenges of meeting the daily needs of the people he serves, as the junta is blocking all main roads. Medicines, drinking water, and gasoline are in urgent demand. Despite these difficult circumstances, Pastor M has God’s favor as he looks after three churches in the jungles, as shown below.

Thank you so much for your prayers, love, and support financially.

In His Love,

Staff Update

  • Pastor B and his family are doing good. His children will have a mid-exam very soon.
  • Pastor M and his family experienced a severe flood during the month that badly damaged roads and acres of plantation lands. So, all schools are closed until recently. Additionally, he is dealing with difficulties with having basic needs met from one place to another.
  • Pastor Y and his family are doing well. Although the situation is still unstable for meeting as a group, he has become a very helpful leader in his community and is sharing the good news with them as well.
  • Pastor T and his family are good. He is still active in the Lord’s harvest.
  • Pastor Z and his family are doing good. Pray for his two children's education.
  • Pastor S and his family are good. He is active in the ministry.

Testimony

First, I thank God for His love and faithfulness. I also thank the CCI team for allowing us to take this course. My heartfelt thanks also go to our pastor, who teaches us how to study and practice. He is preparing and building my life through this book so that I can be ready to teach and lead others. This Book # 4 is really inspiring to me. What I learned from this book is as follows.

  1. I realized the importance of preaching and teaching. Without the help of the Holy Spirit, people will remain the same.
  2. As a teacher, I need more time to prepare the text well so that the lives of people will be touched and changed by the Word of God.
  3. It also reminds me that I need to check myself with my teaching so that other people can read me as the written word of God.
  4. I also learned that I would only teach with good preparation.

  • Pray with us for the Lord's supply of children's education and its needs, as He is the only One we can trust. Pray also for their good health and wisdom.
  • This devaluation of our support is drastically affecting our family’s food budget. We are asking the Lord to provide an increase of $250 per month to meet these basic needs. Please consider making a new monthly commitment today to help meet this need. We thank you in advance for your help.
