Do You Have a Graduating Senior in Your Family?

We will be celebrating our graduating seniors on Sunday, May 19th, during the service and with refreshments in the Parish Hall after.

Please let Erin know if there is a senior in your family you’d like to include.

It's Coming Soon...

Rev. Bob is being ordained in June! There will be more details to come on our celebration, but in the meantime, In the meantime, we are accepting contributions to purchase a congregational ordination gift: a lovely traveling communion kit that will be a blessing to Rev. Bob, and our congregation, and will further St. Nicholas' mission to actively share Christ's love for all people.

You are welcome to donate through Vanco or in the offering plate on Sunday using an envelope from the narthex.

You can view our intended gift by clicking here.

May 11 Church Workday Canceled (but)

Due to lack of response and climbing temperatures, the Church Work Day originally scheduled for May 11 has been canceled.

But... We are looking for thumbs - green and otherwise - to help with the landscaping, especially in the Memory Garden and around our large sign.

If you enjoy puttering about the garden, feel free to contact Erin in the office and she will get you to the right person to coordinate with.

Sunday Treats!

Parish Life kicked off post-service Fellowship time on Easter Sunday with cookies and lemonade. We'd like to continue this tradition on Sundays to give us a few minutes after the service to just enjoy each other's company.

If you'd like to bring a simple treat one Sunday a sign-up sheet is in the narthex.

Childcare Provider Wanted

We are currently seeking a responsible adult to provide childcare in the nursery during Sunday Services and the occasional special event. This is a paid position, and there are training requirements.

Contact the church office to express interest and receive the job description.

Pastoral Care News

St. Nicholas has joined the Congregational Care Plan at the Pastoral Institute. If you are a member of this congregation who is wrestling with mental illness, please contact the Pastoral Institute. Look for informative flyers on the bulletin board in the hall.

Prayer Requests

Your prayers are requested for Carolyn Cox's cousin, Janet Scent Hume.

Continued prayers for all those in need within our community and those in the world who have suffered due to war and natural disaster. We pray for peace for the people of Israel and the Palestinians.
