These clients were given my services as a closing gift from their thoughtful real estate agent. They chose to use it to get ideas to enhance their home's exterior since they already had plans for the interior. The trim color is too close in hue to the main color of the house to really give it that nice contrast and curb appeal. They felt that the stone to be more pronounced...and I agree!

AFTER...

Utilizing a light color as the foundation while incorporating a darker accent on the trim creates a visual contrast that draws the eye to the center stone. The choice of a lighter hue for the window trim against the stone accentuates the rustic focal point. Adding darker shutters helps to fill out those large gable walls and bring in a classic welcoming feel.
