June 8 - Geaux Paddle Youth Workshop - The TECHE Project's “Geaux Paddle” recreation program is offering paddling opportunities for kids ages 10-14 on Bayou Teche and will include safety instruction, an experiment on water testing, paddle to New Iberia City Park and an art project with Margaret Simon. Learn about wood duck boxes and the importance of providing safe nest sites for reproduction; education on flora and fauna and the importance of native plants; and trash pickup.
