Help us kick off the new school year in a sweet way! Drop in for our annual ice cream social and get to know your school community! Information on programs & events offered this year will be available as well as help for back-to-school forms! This is a free event with plenty of ice cream for everyone. We highly encourage everyone to come!

Passport Club Kick Off Party!

ALL THINGS PASSPORT CLUB!!

Passport Club Kick-Off Party - Tuesday September 10th at 10:00am in the STEAM Room.

Please join us for our annual work party! Special shout out to our first timers, first grade parents!! This will be Passport Clubs 26th year. We need your help to make it a success. We’re going to be labeling, collating, stapling and organizing the Passport materials for our 1st graders and all new students and teachers. It will be fun to meet new parents and catch up with old friends. Yummy snacks and beverages will be provided too!

First Passport Check!

First Passport Check Day - Tuesday, September 24th from 12:30 to 3:30pm.

We need checkers!! We can train you on the fly. No experience needed. Have fun learning geography along with the students. Signup HERE.

Walkathon 2024

Get Ready for Our Annual Walkathon on September 27th!

We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming Puesta del Sol Walkathon, a fantastic way to support our school while having fun! On September 27th, students will walk and run to raise funds for important school programs and activities. It’s a fantastic way to support our school and to get to know the Puesta del Sol community.

Here is how you can help:

1. Get Involved: Encourage your student to participate and fill out the back to school forms to select the size for their FREE -shirt! 
2. RSVP: Please make sure to RSVP for your student. This is mandatory whether or not your student participates.
3. Spread the word: Share this exciting event with family and friends.
4. Make a Difference: Your gifts will support the vital educational resources and enrich our students’ learning experience.

Fall Extracurricular Classes

Would you like to add some extra pizazz to your child's learning this year? Our PTA sponsored Before and After School classes will be announced soon!

Details about new and returning classes will be updated on our PTA website over the next two weeks, and will be advertised in the next issue of the El Sol. In addition, some of our instructors will be available to chat with families at the Ice Cream Social on 9/13.

Classes are slated to begin the week of September 30th. Registration will open on September 20th at 9:00am.
