Clare Rose Sabbatical

We are thrilled to share some exciting updates with you as we prepare to conclude our 2024 selection process.

Currently, we have two incredible nonprofit leaders embarking on their sabbatical journeys:

🎶 Fiona Chatwin and Villa Musica kicked off their capacity-building experience on March 15th.

🐢 Ben Vallejos and Living Coast Discovery Center began their sabbatical adventure on April 8th.

We are immensely grateful to Fiona, Ben, and their respective organizations for their dedication to personal and professional growth through

 this program.

As we eagerly anticipate announcing our 2024 Clare Rose Sabbatical Recipients by the end of May, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Deborah Martin, Kristianne Kurner, and John Malashock for their invaluable contributions as members of our interview and selection committee this year.

Stay tuned for a special announcement featuring our remarkable grantees!

NONPROFIT RESOURCE EXCHANGE

The Nonprofit Resource Exchange San Diego is a place for nonprofit organizations to ask for what they need and to offer what they have to other nonprofit organizations. The Nonprofit Resource Exchange San Diego is built on the value of reciprocity with the goal of sharing resources to help the nonprofit sector as we all work together to lead our teams, serve our clients, re-imagine how we work, and sustain our organizations for the future.

Nonprofit Resource Exchange San Diego was originally created as a pilot program through a partnership between FIELDSTONE LEADERSHIP NETWORK SAN DIEGO and THE NONPROFIT INSTITUTE to address immediate needs presented by COVID. Because it has proven to be a valuable asset, we continue to host the space.

NONPROFIT BOARD EXCHANGE

To assist nonprofit organizations in efforts to identify board members and diversify their governing boards, Fieldstone Leadership Network San Diego hosts the Nonprofit Board Exchange™, a community resource to publicize openings on local nonprofit boards and supply information on available trainings for those who serve in this important role. The Nonprofit Board Exchange™ aims to expand and equalize the field of those interested in serving in a volunteer governing role with a nonprofit organization.
