We're excited to be back at Disney's Coronado Springs September 13-15! This resort boasts a beautiful lakeside oasis with a unique blend of Spanish, Mexican and Southwest American cultures. Included on-site are various dining options and an aquatic area featuring a 50-foot replica of a Mayan pyramid, as well as modern comforts and the Disney touches that will make your stay truly magical!
Our 2024 #AdvocacyDays is jam packed with sessions, activities and lots of fun! In addition to Jonathan Martinis, our key note speaker Friday evening discussing Supported Decision Making, we will once again have a Self-advocate Panel discussion on Saturday morning and two different breakout sessions on Sunday. Florida SAND members will lead a discussion on advocacy for self-advocates and John Dickerson, former Executive Director at The Arc of Indiana will discuss important topics for DSPs and caregivers.

Stay in the Know BEFORE you go! Disney announced changes to its Disability Access Service for its theme parks in Florida and California. The service, which is free, allows those with disabilities to get a return time for attractions rather than wait in a standard line. Learn what travelers with disabilities should know HERE.

Thank you for your advocacy! If you want additional information regarding these issues, please contact our CEO Alan Abramowitz at alan@arcflorida.org or 850.241.3232.
