Story Time | Sat., May 11 from 9:30-11 AM

You are invited to STORY TIME – a free one and one half hour special event created just for you and the young children in your life.

We are so excited for you and your child/children to join us for STORY TIME! A live story time, scripture, music, a craft and a snack are just a few of the things that will be waiting for you. Plus, you get to experience it all while making fun family memories. We have designed everything from start to finish with your child in mind. All of this fun will take place on Saturday, May 11 from 9:30-11:00 AM at Calvary Church of Orland Park. You are welcome to invite any friends and family who also have young children! We want everyone to come!

Spring Cleanup | Sat., April 27 from 8-11 AM

Join us for an outdoor grounds cleanup at the Orland Campus. We will be cleaning up our flower beds, weeding, mulching, and trimming our plants and bushes back to get ready for Spring. Come and lend a hand and bring any of your favorite garden or landscaping tools.

Mother's Day Photos

We are collecting photos of Calvary mothers and grandmothers to be shared in a video compilation on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12. Help us honor the mothers in our church by uploading these photos by May 5.

Churchwide Meeting | Sun., May 19 @ 4 PM (held at Orland Park campus)

The Consistory has scheduled this years congregational meeting for Sunday, May 19 at 4 PM. During this meeting the church will vote on the new slate of elders and deacons for Calvary. We will also share an update on the Lead Pastor search process, finances, among other things.

Lost & Found | Stop by the Welcome Desk

We have many items we would love to see reunited with their owners - sweatshirts, cups, Bibles etc. If you are missing anything, stop by the Welcome Desk in the lobby to see if something might belong to you.

We also have a few lost rings. See an attendant at the Welcome Desk on Sunday.

Night of Prayer | Thurs., May 2 @ 7 PM

Don’t miss the Prayer Gathering on Thursday May 2nd @ 7- 8 p.m. This will be a beautiful, creative and rich time of prayer for your life, family, church and world.

Enjoy a time of worship, and personal and corporate prayer in some unique and powerful ways. These prayer gatherings are central to our Churchwide focus this year: A community united in prayer to experience Jesus’ presence, peace and power!

Starting Point Membership Class | Fri., May 3, 6-9 pm | Sat., May 4, 9-11 am

Starting Point is a weekend experience designed to help you discover God’s vision for your life as Jesus’ disciple. In unpacking Calvary’s three Pillars of Discipleship, you will learn how to grow, connect, and serve at Calvary while meeting other new people and several church leaders. If you’re new at Calvary, or looking to get more involved, this is your perfect place to start!

Dinner will be provided on Friday, and a light breakfast on Saturday morning.

We are not made to do this alone--we need Biblical community to encourage and challenge one another to cultivate the inner and outward life of Jesus. Connect Groups meet weekly to share life together, pray, discuss the Bible, and help one another implement God’s Word into their lives.

Calvary Orland Park Food Pantry

Open the 2nd Thursday of each month | 9 -11 AM

Our Orland food pantry continues to meet the needs of our community members through physical donations.

Please consider contributing with gift cards (Meijer/Jewel/Walmart) so we can purchase food, or by dropping off non-perishable items to the office

Mon.—Thurs. 8 AM to 4 PM, or on Sunday mornings in the lobby.

Also, if you or someone you know needs support from our food pantry, or if you'd like to give time/resources to our ministry, please contact us at CalvaryFoodPantry@thisiscalvary.org.
