Newton County Public Library has partnered with 1000 Books Foundation to offer 1000 Books before Kindergarten (1000BooksB4K) for children in our communities. The objectives of 1000 Books Foundation are simple – promote reading to newborns, infants and toddlers, and encourage parent and child bonding through reading.
Lake Village, Morocco and Roselawn Libraries have information sheets, log sheets & bookmarks for parents interested in the program.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a 60-volume set of books beginning with the children’s classic The Little Engine That Could.
