Reminders

Recovery Day!

Recovery Day: This Friday, April 19, 2024 - it is the final recovery day of the year! We are doing things a little differently.

Students and parents will receive an email from their specific teacher requesting that their student come in for recovery day if that teacher determines they need to attend to make up missed work or get extra support. That teacher will indicate the time they should come in for that course and if they need to sign up for a specific time slot or drop-in during office hours.

Be on the lookout for communication being sent home from instructors. If your student wishes to attend recovery day for support in a specific class, they should speak to that teacher directly.

Please contact Lauren Morrison if you have questions.

Vote for Student Government

The Student Government Association (SGA) needs your vote! Let your voice be heard! Click the button above to vote for your Student Government Officers by 2:50pm on Friday, April 19th.

Kon'nichiwa Japan!

We’re going to Japan  in Summer 2025, and you’re invited!

We’re excited to tell you more about the trip we’re planning with EF Tours, our educational travel partner. Please be sure to register for this info session to be considered for this opportunity: https://rsvp.eftours.com/tx6xcse

The Information session will take place on May 2nd at 6:00pm in room 422 at the high school

When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and we would love to have your student join us on this adventure.

In this info session, we’ll talk about:

  • How this opportunity will benefit your student
  • What we’ll see and do on our trip
  • Everything that’s included in this experience
  • How your child can earn academic credit
  • How we’re keeping this safe and affordable
  • How to enroll on this trip (before it fills up!) during EF’s risk-free enrollment period

There are limited spots on this trip, so we would love to have you attend this meeting to learn more about this exciting opportunity! Please contact Mr. Mesh if you have questions.

Gardeners Needed - Volunteer Opportunity

Like vegetable gardening? Come get your hands in the soil this summer and help CECFC tend our Farm to School gardens! We are looking for parent and student volunteers to help weed, harvest, and pack produce, as well as to staff our stand at the Fort Collins farmer's market.

Contact Kristin Maxwell for more information and to get connected with our volunteer screening process before May 17th.

Security Update Coming Soon

CECFCHS will be implementing a new sign-in/sign-out system to help us keep our students and staff safe.

Raptor’s sign-in/sign-out system where students and staff can record their entry and exit times upon arrival and departure from the school building helps to ensure accurate accounting of individuals and real-time tracking of who is in the building at any given time. Using a sign-in/sign-out system is essential for school safety. Here’s why:

  • Emergency Preparedness: In the event of an emergency, the sign-in/sign-out system serves as a valuable tool for quickly identifying who is present in the building. This information is crucial for emergency response efforts and ensuring the safety of all individuals on campus.
  • Restricted Access: Only current students and staff can sign in using their IDs. This helps prevent unauthorized individuals, such as former staff or students from gaining access to the school building.
  • Real-Time Tracking: The system has real-time tracking capabilities, allowing school administrators to monitor the presence of individuals in the building at any given time.
  • Centralized Data Management: All sign-in/sign-out data is managed and easily accessible to authorized personnel, facilitating efficient accounting and tracking of individuals in the school building.

By implementing a comprehensive sign-in/sign-out system with the features outlined above, schools can ensure accurate accounting of individuals, real-time tracking capabilities, and enhanced security measures to safeguard the school community. Please click HERE to learn how the system works. Contact Court Sheffield if you have questions.
