We were so happy to meet and visit with many of you at our Parent Information Night. If you were not able to attend, a link to our slide show is included below. We are looking forward to a successful school year full of cooperation and communication!

2nd/3rd Grade Eagles in Action 2024

Our school theme verse this year is “Endure” from Hebrews 12:1-3. Eagles in Action service projects will give us all the opportunity to live that verse this year and in training for life as followers of Jesus. During this school year, 2nd/3rd grade will use chapel offerings we collect in August and September to purchase food and non-food items every month we’re in school for the LaGrange Area Food Pantry. Snap or Link cards don’t cover items like toothpaste, shampoo, soap, deodorant, toilet paper, or diapers. So each month, we’ll focus on one non-food item to buy and donate. We will also use a portion of the money each month to purchase sale items on foods like cereal, pasta, and canned goods.

Thank you for helping us serve in our community, and grow in our faith as disciples of Jesus.

Extended Care Payments

Reminder: Any existing balance, including unpaid balances from the 23/24 school year, will be automatically charged to the credit card we have on file by the 20th of September.

Adding or Removing Your Student(s) from the Extended Care List

If you need to add or remove your student(s) to the extended care list on a particular day, or on a regular basis, you MUST email Ms. Strombom at extcare@stjohnslagrange.org.

Forgotten Items

In the unlikely event that your student forgets a lunch or other necessary item, you may leave it on the table inside door A. Make sure the item is clearly labeled with the student's name and grade. The student's teacher will be notified, and the student will be able to retrieve the item at an appropriate time.

Our Teacher Rededication will take place this Sunday, September 15th, during both the 8:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. services.

Meals to Go and Caring Ministries will be hosting a special coffee hour in honor of our teachers.

Please join us in thanking our St. John's teachers for all their hard work and service.

Picture Day will be Tuesday, October 1st

For preschoolers who are MWF, there will be an option to come in that day to get your student's picture taken, or to wait for retake day in November.

Mrs. Fields Fundraiser

Our Mrs. Fields Fundraiser starts today! Order cookies for the holidays! This fundraiser runs until September 27th. Orders will arrive and be distributed before Thanksgiving. An envelope with all the information is coming home with your student today.
