Member Spotlight:

Delbert Adams Construction Group

The Business Member Q&A format in the Spotlight feature articles allows us to delve deeper into a Patron Member’s business through an in-depth one-on-one conversation. We hope you enjoy reading these features and find the responses interesting, informative, and engaging. Recently, we had the opportunity to speak with Adam Peck, Director of Business Development at Delbert Adams Construction Group (DACG), and asked some intriguing questions:

Who is Adam Peck?

Adam Peck arrived on the Design District scene over a year ago and quickly immersed himself by volunteering to serve on the Board of Directors. His active participation in numerous events has made him widely recognized in our community.  Naturally, this was our first question that Adam answered with delight.

Residing in Annapolis, Adam has been instrumental in continuing to grow Delbert Adams Construction Group’s presence in the area. With extensive work having been done in the greater Baltimore area as well as a large presence on the Eastern Shore, Adam assists in bridging the gap by solidifying a dedicated pre-construction and construction team focused on the greater Annapolis region. In his role, Adam partners with homeowners to assemble the perfect team consisting of architects, interior designers and various other valuable trade partners for each DACG project. [Shown here are Clay Coulston, DACG Project Manager, and Adam Peck at a build project site.]

Describe what sets DACG apart.

Delbert Adams Construction Group (DACG) distinguishes itself through its commitment to excellence in all that they do; from detail-oriented execution of challenging and complex projects to their robust resources and staffing capabilities, their impeccable focus on providing the highest quality of service is evident in their work. Whether constructing large waterfront homes on expansive properties with limited access points or crafting intricate architectural plans with unique specifications, DACG excels. Their dedicated team of professionals and commitment to quality craftsmanship ensure superior service for every client and project. Specializing in major new home build projects, renovations, historic restorations, commercial construction for private clubs and comprehensive property maintenance services, DACG stands as a premier full-service construction company operating in the DMV area.

How does DACG manage and execute a project?

As a full-service construction company, DACG assigns each project a dedicated team consisting of a pre-construction manager, estimator, and administrative office staff alongside a dedicated project manager and construction site team. A devoted project manager and site supervisor oversee the construction team on-site. Adam Peck, as the initial contact for every new project, remains integral to the project team as it moves into pre-construction and through the subsequent construction stages. Throughout a homeowner’s journey with DACG, they will be supported with a team of highly skilled individuals to assist with architectural plans, construction selections, and interior detailing, ensuring the right-fit options are identified. Through the use of construction management software, homeowners are able to view material selections, check the project schedule and see daily reports and pictures, effectively allowing them to watch the progression of the project remotely. Each project at DACG, no matter how big or how small, is meticulously managed and executed with a focus on the highest quality client service and craftsmanship with a focus on sustainable building.

With over 40 years of construction experience, the team at Delbert Adams Construction Group (DACG) has successfully completed award-winning projects throughout Maryland and the surrounding area.
