JOB SEARCH TIP OF THE MONTH

'Use A Resume Objective Or Summary'

The first thing recruiters and HR managers look at on your resume is the header. A good way to catch their attention is to include a strong objective or summary.

This should be a 2-3 sentence snapshot of your qualifications, achievements, skills and more!

If you need help with your resume, visit one of our six service centers to talk to your Talent Specialist. We know a few things about drafting a great resume and highlighting your skills! Find the service center nearest you at MWWC.org/contact-us.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Michigan Works! West Central Celebrates Staff Anniversaries At In-House Conference

Staff were able to attend workshops taught by their coworkers to learn tips to be more effective and efficient.
