I'm James Woodall Co-Owner of Woodall's Fitness and Performance. This year we are celebrating 20 years in business in Johnston County! Before I moved to NC I was a trainer, massage therapist and rehab specialist in Las Vegas!
(I'll tell you more in a separate newsletter.)
I have trained and owned a fitness training business since 1991! Keeping my clients motivated is what I do! Here are some strategies for your success!
-
Set Clear, Achievable Goals: Define both short-term and long-term goals. Short-term goals can keep you motivated on a daily or weekly basis, while long-term goals give you a bigger picture to work towards.
-
Create a Routine: Incorporate exercise into your daily schedule so it becomes a habit. Consistency is key, and having a set time for your workouts can make it easier to stick with it.
-
Track Your Progress: Keep a journal or use an app to record your workouts and progress. Seeing how far you've come can be a powerful motivator.
-
Find Activities You Enjoy: Choose exercises and activities that you look forward to. Whether it’s dancing, hiking, or group fitness classes, enjoying what you’re doing makes it easier to stick with it.
-
Mix It Up: Variety can prevent boredom. Try different workouts, switch up your routine, and explore new activities to keep things interesting.
-
Exercise with a Friend: Having a workout buddy can make exercise more enjoyable and hold you accountable. You can motivate each other and make workouts more fun.
