Science Communication Strategies and Resources Webinar

The resulting work provides strategies and resources for science communicators to adjust and improve their engagements on the spot. The Center of Science in Industry (COSI) in Columbus, Ohio, is excited to partner with the National Girls Collaborative Project on an exciting new initiative: its innovative STEM immersion program. This fall, COSI will launch a new Learning Lunchbox theme, "American Innovation," celebrating the nation's 250th Birthday in 2026. The Learning Lunchbox is an award-winning program that distributes free science kits to underserved youth across the nation to help increase diversity and equity in STEM, while inspiring youth toward STEM career pathways. Join NASA's Universe of Learning for an exciting opportunity to use real astronomical data and tools to create your own images of Cassiopeia A. Use your images to explore how this dynamic dead star behaves across different types of light. Or just create an image that you think is beautiful. Polar STEAM Educator Opportunities
Polar STEAM is recruiting educators for 2025/26 collaborations with polar researchers in creating educational resources about polar regions and science. Applications are open for Arctic and Antarctic deployments as well as virtual collaborations in both regions. This opportunity is open to community college and minority serving institution faculty, middle and high school educators, and informal educators. The deadline for applications is August 4, 2024.
