OR 217 to close through Tigard this weekend

OR 217 will close in both directions between OR 99W and Greenburg Road as part of ODOT's OR 217 Auxiliary Lanes project.


The closure will begin at 9 p.m. tonight (Friday) and continue through 5 a.m. Monday. Several on-ramps in the area will also close. Drivers will be detoured to U.S. 26, I-405 and I-5.


The Hall Boulevard overpass will be demolished during the closure. ODOT recommends travelers avoid the area and use alternate routes.

Participants can review updates to the County’s Significant Natural Resource inventory map and learn about the proposed development code changes to the natural resource rules.

  • 112th Avenue/Tualatin-Sherwood Road intersection; traffic signal shutdown, 9 p.m.-12 a.m. March 20-21 for utility work.


  • Dartmouth Street/72nd Avenue intersection; traffic signal shutdown, 11 p.m.-3 a.m. March 20-21 for utility work.


  • Dartmouth Street/Walmart-WinCo intersection; traffic signal shutdown, 11 p.m.-3 a.m. March 20-21 for utility work.

Neighborhood Meetings

Neighborhood meetings, required for many Washington County development applications, can be held online as per the COVID-19 Virtual Neighborhood Meeting Supplement.
