CCCD's 2024 Farm Equipment Field Day & Spring Seed Sale

2024 Farm Equipment Field Day - The Cheshire County Conservation District (CCCD) is excited to once again offer an annual Farm Equipment Field Day for our local agricultural community!


Farmers can save time, money, and labor by renting equipment through CCCD’s Farm Equipment Rental Program. Over a dozen implements are available to support a diversity of vegetable, livestock, and dairy farmers. A no-till transplanter, wood ash/lime spreader, seeders, topper, and more are available to rent.


Join this event to see equipment in action! Hear from service providers and other farmers about how they have utilized equipment on their land.


When: Tuesday, April 9th, 11:00-1:00PM (Snow date 4/11)

Where: Cheshire County Farm, River Rd, Westmoreland NH 03467


Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.

This event is a partnership between the Cheshire County Conservation District (CCCD), UNH Extension, Monadnock Grows Together, and the USDA-NRCS. Monadnock Grows Together is a free local resource for gardeners and small-scale urban farmers looking for advice, information, and support.

CCCD's Spring Seed Sale - The Cheshire County Conservation District (CCCD) is now accepting spring seed orders through March 27th!


Farmers and home growers can purchase cover crop and field seeds and take advantage of this spring bulk order. This program helps you save on expensive shipping costs and avoid seed shortages!
