Collaborative Spotlight

Ohio Girls Collaborative Project

Celebrating Ohio Girls Collaborative

The Ohio Girls Collaborative, part of Moonshot Ohio, is working to change the face of STEM in Ohio, exposing more underrepresented youth to quality STEM experiences while keeping older girls engaged in non-traditional STEM fields through high school and beyond. The Collaborative is working to increase equity in STEM and strengthen the pipeline of girls from elementary school through women in the workforce. The Collaborative is led by the Ohio Afterschool Network (OAN).

OAN and NGCP are hosting the State of Girls in STEM event on September 4, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Quest Conference Center in Westerville, OH. This event will bring together youth, STEM professionals, educators, and out-of-school time providers to share, discuss, and plan for expanding STEM learning opportunities for girls in Ohio.
