Bellaire Guitar

Bellaire Varsity and JV guitar ensembles travelled to Texas State University last weekend to participate in the Hill Country Classical Guitar Ensemble Festival and Competition. For the 2nd year in a row, Varsity won 1st place. Additionally, the Bellaire Guitar Quartet was awarded 1st place in their category. JV also competed and performed beautifully. There is no official state title for guitar ensembles, but there are two major competitions. Last year and this year, the group that won the other contest placed 2nd to Bellaire, making our talented guitarists the de facto State Champs!
