The Federal Funding Account Awards Map is now available to explore the latest Federal Funding Account awards and recommended projects from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). The map provides project information such as grantee/applicant, award amount, speeds offered, and approval status. Users may select different layers to learn about the communities being funded through the Federal Funding Account. Users can also share custom views of the map using the URL Generation Widget embedded within. Check out the map today!  

The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) continues to make Federal Funding Account awards and issue recommended awards as part of the $2 billion program to expand broadband internet access for underserved and unserved communities across California. CPUC Broadband Grant Portal Wins Best of California Award


The CPUC’s Broadband Grant Portal received a Best of California award at the California Government Innovation Summit, which was hosted by Government Technology on August 21st. The Portal was recognized in the “Serving the Public” category. Congratulations to the skilled team that developed this resource that has been instrumental in streamlining the last mile broadband Federal Funding Account grant application process.
