Please register for Volunteer Fair 2024, to be held April 25 from 1pm-3pm at the Northampton Senior Center! Agencies who serve the Northampton area and are seeking volunteers are invited to reserve a table. Spaces are limited - don't miss out! All exhibitors will have access to the Great Room for setup starting at 12pm. You can purchase lunch if you wish before the Fair begins. All the details, including a lunch order form, will be sent to you in a confirmation email before the Fair.

KidsBestFest at Academy of Music

KidsBestFest is a FREE week-long movie festival for kids and adults. Held during the spring school break at the Academy of Music Theatre, this is a great way to spend some family time together while enjoying delightful movies. Check out The Great Muppet Caper on April 16, 2024 at 11:00am. Doors open at 10:30am.

Community Action 60th Anniversary

Celebrating 60 years of keeping our community housed, fed, warm, working, learning & connected! On Friday May 3rd, Community Action Pioneer Valley will host their Annual Meeting at Greenfield Community College from 7:30am-9am. Join them for breakfast and learn about their efforts over the past six decades to build communities in which everyone has a right to live with dignity and find opportunities to thrive.

The Truth School 2023 Annual Report

The Sojourner Truth School for Social Change Leadership reports that 2023 was a year during which they built on successes from the past and also introduced some changes to their programming. There were many indicators that their work is needed including classes with online participants from 33 states. Good news for all those who have enjoyed an online course.

Bikes Fight Cancer Ride on June 15th

Love bikes, hate cancer? This is the bike ride for you! The BIKES FIGHT CANCER Charity Ride June 15th, 2024 at Tree House Brewing. Cooley Dickinson Hospital is teaming up with Bikes Fight Cancer, a local non-profit, to raise funds for the Mass General Cancer Center at Cooley Dickinson Hospital and its Cancer Care Patient fund.
