Promising Family-School-Community Partnerships in Early Childhood Settings (Birth-8) Call for Chapter Proposals
Chapter proposals are currently being accepted for a volume in the Family-School-Community Partnership monograph series. Proposals are welcomed from cross-disciplinary scholars from fields that may include early childhood education, inclusive/special education, psychology, counseling, social work or health care.
Chapters should include a focus on promising, exemplar theoretically grounded, evidence-based initiatives/successful partnerships across a range of settings affecting young children and their families in birth-8: Part C Early Intervention, Early Childhood Special Education, Inclusive Preschool, Early Childhood/Early Elementary School, Community Settings.

Researcher/Senior Researcher Position Available at Mathematica
Mathematica Global is seeking a Researcher/Senior Researcher with experience developing and evaluating student assessments for low- and middle-income country contexts.
The Researcher/Senior Researcher will lead and support teams of Mathematica staff, international consultants and in-country partners to generate and distill evidence to guide strategy, program improvement and policy efforts. This may involve leading evaluations and research; developing new and improved approaches to using big data, evidence and learning to inform decision-making; and serving as a trusted learning partner and advisor to our clients and partners.

Racial Equity Research Grants
The Racial Equity Research Grants program supports education research projects that will contribute to understanding and ameliorating racial inequality in education. Focus is on studies that aim to understand and disrupt the reproduction and deepening of inequality in education, and which seek to (re)imagine and make new forms of equitable education.

The Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation in the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) plans to solicit applications for Access to Infant and Toddler Care and Education: Research and Evaluation Grants.
This grant opportunity will provide funding to address key research and evaluation questions related to care and education access for infants and toddlers at the national, state or local level.

Child Care and Development Fund Lead Agency Data and Research Capacity Grants
This grant opportunity will provide funding to support partnerships between CCDF Lead Agencies and researchers to develop and improve state, territory and Tribal data systems and build the capacity of CCDF Lead Agencies to collect, analyze and use data to guide child care policy decisions and program improvement efforts.
These 18-month projects will fund a planning phase to develop a research plan to address questions of interest to the CCDF Lead Agency, including a plan for identifying, linking and using state, territory and Tribal data to inform child care policy decisions.
Award budget: $75,000–$150,000

Center for Home-based Child Care Research
This grant opportunity will provide funding to address key research and evaluation questions related to care and education access for infants and toddlers at the national, state or local level.
Specifically, these awards will support either: 1) descriptive research studies to document current access, shifts in access over time, or the characteristics of specific policies, practices or other efforts that may be affecting access; or 2) evaluations to explore the implementation or effects of specific policies, practices or other efforts that may be affecting access.

The Learning Sciences Exchange (LSX) is a fellowship for mid-career professionals interested in catalyzing change in schools and communities. LSC is seeking applicants for the 2024-25 cohort.

U.S. Department of Education Transformative Research in the Education Sciences Grant Program
The Institute of Education Sciences is announcing two competitions — one competition in each of the following areas: using longitudinal data to support state education policymaking; and transformative research in the education sciences.
Using Longitudinal Data to Support State Education Policymaking: Under this competition, NCER will only consider applications that address state agencies' use of their State's education longitudinal data systems to identify and reduce opportunity and achievement gaps for learners from prekindergarten through adult education.

The FY 2025 RFAs for the Institute of Education Science (IES) Education Research and Special Education Research Grant Programs grant competitions are now available!
The application deadline for the following competitions is Sept. 12, 2024.
Education Research Grants (84.305A): This program seeks to expand the understanding of education programs, practices and policies in the U.S. and how they are related to education outcomes for learners at all levels, including early childhood, elementary, secondary, postsecondary and adult education. For FY 2025, NCER will consider applications that address one of 11 topics.
Optional letters of intent are due June 27, 2024.
Statistical and Research Methodology in Education (84.305D): This program seeks to provide a wide range of methodological and statistical tools that will better enable applied education scientists to conduct rigorous education research. For FY 2025, NCER will consider applications that address one of the following topics: Core Grants and Toolkits.
Optional letters of intent are due July 11, 2024.
Special Education Research Grants (84.324A): This program seeks to expand the knowledge base and understanding of learners with or at risk for disabilities from infancy through postsecondary education. For FY 2025, NCSER will consider only applications that address the following topic: Education Systems.

Research Training in Special Education: Early Career Development and Mentoring (84.324B): These training programs seek to prepare individuals to conduct rigorous and relevant special education and early intervention research that advances knowledge within the field, and addresses issues important to education policymakers and practitioners. For FY 2025, there is one training program — early career development and mentoring.
