NOAS CORE TEEN SERVICE

Are you a parent, caregiver, or professional who works with troubled teens? Does your teenager have moderate to severe emotional and behavioral challenges? You may find that NOAS has the right solution for you. CORE TEEN!

CORE Teen is a curriculum designed to assist and support prospective and current foster parents raising older foster children who have moderate to severe emotional or behavioral challenges. CORE Teen aims to provide specialized knowledge and skills to foster parents, caregivers, and professionals. Developing trauma-informed and culturally responsive training will reduce the risk of placement disruptions, increase permanency options, and recruit more resource parents.

OH/PA GIVING WEEK

thank you to all who donated to NOAS

We would like to thank everyone who donated to NOAS during OH/PA Giving Week. Thanks to the success of this year's event, we will receive nearly $3,000.00 with matching funds from OH/PA Gives.

NATIONAL INTERN DAY

National Internship Day is observed on the last Thursday of July, which in 2024 will be July 25. The internship experience helps shape the future of young people and their professions by providing them with real-world experience and giving them the chance to learn and grow. Interns provide their employers with invaluable skills, knowledge, and insights. National Internship Day showcases the importance of internships as a pathway to success for young people. It's a way for businesses to thank their interns and recognize their work.

NOAS would like to thank Nicole Bickel, a marketing intern who joined us this summer. Nicole is a senior at Kent State University. We are very fortunate to have Nicole with us this summer. Her dedication, young talent, and smile make working with her a pleasure.
