Lincoln County Television & Media Center is non-profit, public access, community media for and about the citizens of Lincoln County, Maine | |
Hello Claire,
My Daddy used to say, "Peas for the 4th along with fresh strawberry shortcake means summer is half over!". Well, that may have been the case back in 1965, but in a lot of folks' minds, summer is just getting started! And we here at LCTV have been busy! Partnering with LincolnHealth, we have actually been in the operating room; filming not one, but TWO surgeries. We are in the early stages of piecing together a series of shows that take the mystery out of the Operating Room. We filmed a cataract surgery leaving us in complete awe of the teamwork and procedure as well as a carpal Tunnel operation that was truly amazing. We are so excited to be collaborating with LincolnHealth and their team of outstanding Doctors and Nurses. They will lead you step by step through these operations. Also included in the series is a talk about Palliative Care and a discussion with the surgical team leader and the administration on why regionalization of hospitals is crucial to their survival. Stay tuned for some more info on this upcoming series.
We also want to update folks for Linaca Festival at Schooner Landing on August 2. This fest brings Lincoln Academy musical Alumni together for a huge jam session. We are also working on setting our schedule of live streams for the fall High School sports season.
In the meantime, enjoy this beautiful weather and be safe on the highways!

LCTV is your Full Service Video Production Partner
As Midcoast's only non-profit, full-service Media Center, we love it when partners call upon us to help them create special shows and videos. Our non-profit status means we can provide the highest level of video filming, editing, and distribution at far lower rates than for-profit vendors.
And since we're all local, we know our community and you know you can trust us to deliver.
In 2023, we produced 481 new shows, specials, meetings and sports events.
Please think of us when your organization or business needs some video work done - we're ready to earn your business.
