ASA's Essential Read for June is the 2025 FAR/AIM!
Since the 2024 FAR/AIM Series published, the FAA has released two changes to the Aeronautical Information Manual and multiple revisions to the regulations, including Parts 43, 61, 71, 91, TSA Part 1552 affecting flight training security programs, and more. Additionally, the 2025 FAR/AIM adds Part 5, which deals with safety management systems (SMS). SMS is now required for air tour operators and other specified certificate holders. ASA maintains updates for the 1-year life of each edition. Make sure you have the most current regulatory information with this critical reference.

SIGWX charts offer meteorological data that can be vital when planning longer flights, or when weather conditions may come into play.

According to the results from the last pole there are a few more Captain Kirk wannabes (32.5%), than there are Luke Skywalkers (22.5%) and Han Solos or Chewbaccas (20%). There were a few Tony Starks (10%), a few X-men (7.5%), a couple of Commander Adamas, and one Bruce Wayne. No one (0.0%) wants to fly a Tie Fighter (or at least doesn't want to admit it).
The following poll is for anyone who wants to participate. Your participation in the poll is voluntary.
