Notice of Passing - Development Charges By-law


TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Mulmur passed a municipal-wide development charges By-law No. 22-2024 on the 3rd day of July 2024, under section 2 (1) of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O., 1997 c. 27, as amended;

AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or organization may appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal under section 14 of the Act, by filing with the Clerk of the Township a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the by-law and the reasons supporting the objection. The last day for appeal is August 6, 2024.



The schedule of development charges imposed by the by-law, which came into effect on July 3, 2024, is as follows:

North Dufferin Community Centre: Renovations Underway


Renovations at the North Dufferin Community Centre are progressing smoothly. The replacement of the ice surface and roof are essential for the longevity and safety of the facility. The project is expected to wrap up in early fall, just in time for the eagerly anticipated hockey season.


A long-term fundraising campaign has been launched to ensure the Centre's sustainability and continuous improvement. A dedicated fundraising committee will lead this effort, focusing on securing funds for current renovations and future enhancements. The goal is to maintain the North Dufferin Community Centre as a vibrant hub for community activities for many years to come. For more information and updates, visit mulmur.ca regularly.
