Now that Spring Break is in the rear view mirror, the big push to the end of the school year is ahead. The goal of this newsletter is to keep you plugged into what is happening across District 3 and to be sure you are aware of key dates:

Shout out to rigor in District 3! Midtown HS, Jackson HS, N Atlanta HS, and Drew HS all received recognition as "AP Honor Schools" by the Georgia Dept of Education based on 2023 AP results. More detail is here.

Dual Enrollment allows high school students to earn college credits while working on their high school diploma, saving time and money on their higher education journey.
Congresswoman Nikema William has opened the Congressional Art Competition for any high school student who lives in the Fifth Congressional District. Submission deadline is April 19.
The Board is focused on choosing the next Superintendent for Atlanta Public Schools. The Community Advisory Panel will inform this process. The goal is to have our permanent leader on board by July 1, 2024.
