Community Big River Clean |
Saturday, April 20 | 10:30a - 12pm
Spring has sprung and it’s time to get outside and get together to clean up the river we all love and care for. Join MMAM and other community organizations including Fastenal, Coca-Cola of Winona, Winona Post, the Minnesota DNR, Big River Magazine and the Land Stewardship Project as we organize volunteer cleanup crews to pick up riverside flotsam, roadside trash, and manage the museum’s six-acres of riverfront plants and shoreline habitat. Dig in and deepen your engagement and relationship with the waterfront at this inaugural Earth Day event, all the while supporting MMAM’s clean water and climate initiatives, in partnership and with the community!
