Meet Our New Executive Director, Maryum!

Maryum Boyd

We have a new executive director on board! Vijay Jacob recently transitioned away from River City Hope Street at the end of June and passed the torch to Maryum to begin in the role this month. We are grateful to Vijay and his wife Laura for their unwavering commitment and dedication to our organization the past three years. We look forward to what God has in store for the future!

Visit Maryum's Bio to learn more about our new leadership.

Donor Wall Coming Soon

We are currently working on developing a donor wall to recognize those who donate to our mission. River City Hope Street wouldn't be here without you! More information to come...

New to RCHS: Weekly Tours

Our goal in beginning weekly tours of our classrooms is to share our love for what we do. Each semester, our students and volunteers make a commitment to attend class and gain new learning experiences. We want to share that with the world & with our supporters!

Tours will occur once a week during each 8-week session. A schedule will be posted to our website once it is established.

This is Nate, one of our previous plumbing students who graduated from our program and is now employed at Pro Veterans Plumbing, a RCHS partner business!

We Have a Gold Seal!

We recently earned a Candid Gold Seal of Transparency! This seal is important to us as it establishes River City Hope Street as a reliable and transparent organization. Its rating is recognition by GuideStar, the world's largest source for nonprofit information.

Feel free to check out our profile to keep up to date with our impact!

River City Hope Street

July 2024 - In this picture, five countries are represented: Colombia, The Netherlands, Russia, South Korea, and the United States. This is the beauty of our ESL programs - we connect through our love of language & learning. We are blessed to build such an inclusive community!

We are also blessed with wonderful volunteers who believe in the work they do and the impact they make at River City!

Make a Difference Today

With our Fall 2024 classes gearing up to start, our primary goal is to ensure our students have everything they need to be successful. In order for this to occur, we have to raise at least $15,000 this semester.

We invite you to pray with us and consider a gift from the heart. Just know, if each of us contribute $50, we can fulfill this goal. Will you help us meet this need today?

Last semester, we were able to serve 132 students in our four programs (Citizenship Prep, ESL, Pre-Apprentice Electrical & Pre-Apprentice Plumbing). If you've ever considered giving to an organization that gives back to its community, please consider us.
