In 1991 my mother created this 17-piece outdoor sculpture titled, "Color Clouds and Ribboned Currents". It was supposed to be a permanent fixture at Broward's south campus at Pembroke Pines. When planning the work, my mother kept in mind the amount of pedestrian traffic in the area, the shapes and colors of the surrounding architecture and the environment. It was seen from several vantage points outside the campus, especially by motorists and by people in the low-flying aircraft of adjacent Hollywood Airport. Unfortunately, in October 2005, Hurricane Wilma damaged the sculpture and it had to be taken down.
