Military Women Bond on the Court

Thank you for your service.

STPC was honored to host Aspenosium, an event for retired and active military women. The group enjoyed a fabulous day of pickleball with friends in a fun and casual setting. STPC offers custom parties for all types of groups and companies, so contact us if you'd like a unique event for your family, friends and co-workers.

Thank You Steamboat Pilot & Today and Tom Skulski for the coverage. The below is from an article dated March 17, 2024.

Steamboat girls tennis off to fiery start as Sailors want to make another postseason push

Last year’s unforgettable season will be a challenge for Steamboat Springs seniors Evan Quinn and Kelsey Norland to replicate, but the girls tennis team is poised to make a loud return to the state tournament with a load of talent this spring. Read Full Article >>.

Congratulations Jayson Harris

Harris promoted to Director of Pickleball

STPC is thrilled to announce that Jayson Harris has been promoted to Director of Pickleball. Formerly Head Pickleball Pro, Jayson's new responsibilities include managing all aspects of our pickleball program: pros and programming, budgeting, revenue generation, tournament and special event management and oversight of the new pickleball building's opening. His outstanding instruction will continue as well with popular drills such as his Singles Strategy class. Jayson and his wife Hannah are expecting a baby in late June, and we are pleased that he and his family are establishing roots in Steamboat Springs.

As we announced a few weeks ago, former Head Tennis Pro Jason Scicchitano has been promoted to Director of Tennis. He has been doing a fabulous job of handling all youth programming, coaching the Girls High School Tennis Team and absorbing private lessons and drills. In his very little spare time, Jason loves to ski and mountain bike.

The sports of tennis and pickleball are in great hands with Jason and Jayson. Both Directors currently are searching for Head Pros that will assist with program development and instruction at the Center.

Center Closed April 1 Starting at 2pm for Planned Power Outage - Will Re-Open April 2

We wanted to let you know that we will be CLOSED April 1, 2024 starting at 2pm due to a planned power outage for the facility. Yampa Valley Electric Association needs to do some work for the new pickleball building, which will result in a planned power outage. We expect the Center to be closed starting at 2pm for the rest of that day. The Center will re-open the next morning. All scheduled events at the Center during that time frame will be cancelled, and all affected participants will be notified by an STPC staff member. Impacted PCT's will be extended for another week due to this closure, and you will be contacted by a staff member. Thank you for bearing with us during construction and during this closure. It will be worth it once that new pickleball building is open and ready for play!

Please note that PCT courts will be outdors starting on June 1.
