Tuesday, August 27 | Drop-In Discussion: Open Topic
Upon repeated requests, it’s time for another ‘Open Topic’ discussion. Many of us have found the Open Topic discussions among the most interesting and enlivening. Log into our Zoom Room and see what you think. John Lukes will moderate the discussion. Drop-in Discussions meet via Zoom on Tuesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm. Look on the First Universalist homepage for details and a link, or click the Zoom meeting link in this blurb title!
Postcard Writing for the Election
Would you like to join First Universalist for postcard writing in preparation for the upcoming election? We will host ongoing postcard writing sessions on the first and third Sundays through October. Feel free to take the postcards home or stay and write them in the Clara Barton Lounge after Sunday Services on September 1 and 15, and October 6 and 20. The Center for Common Ground, a non-partisan organization based in Virginia, is sending postcards to Black and Indigenous people of color throughout the country to encourage them to vote. We provide the addresses, text, and stamps for the postcards. Every vote counts in this crucial election! Questions? Contact Barb Brody. Thank you for considering joining us in this important effort!
