The Women’s Center Graduate Sunset Cafe is a space for graduate students to socialize, de-stress, and study!


We will offer arts and crafts to de-stress after class, food and drinks to re-energize your bodies, and a quiet space to get work done.


The cafe provides a chance for graduate students to prioritize their mental health by encouraging balance in their lives.

Gender Action Projects


Each year, each of our Women's Center Interns develop a

year-long Gender Action Project (GAP) that represents their unique passion, experience, background, and perspective.

A culmination of their work is presented to the community every Spring.

Parenting post-pandemic may still feel like unfamiliar territory for us all, especially returning to work & school after a year+ of remote learning and various hybrid schedules, not to mention the difficulty balancing roles amid a variety of stressors. Parenting is never easy, but this is unprecedented. You are not alone!

This support group is in collaboration with the Women’s Center and facilitated by Izabel Caetano Francy, LCSW, a Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) licensed clinician, who is also a full-time remote working parent.

Open to all UC San Diego campus Faculty and Staff parents of any age, partnered or single.

Feel free to eat lunch or parent as needed during the discussion.
