The summer definitely isn't slowing us down at Evergreen! Summer camp is in full swing, starting off with Let's Get Creative! Art Camp this week followed by Rising Rangers Camp in two weeks!


Next week, we're participating in Mountain Maryland Museum Week. Stop by Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday for museum tours and activities!


Don't forget to order Native Plants! We have a variety of options to choose from and multiple days you can pick-up.


And of course, mark your calendars for our Forest Garden Open House on June 23rd! You can even attend a FREE workshop, Maryland's Edible Understory!

Forest Garden Open House

Sunday, June 23rd

1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.


Join use for our Forest Garden Open House! Explore our Forest Garden, visit our three museums, purchase native plants, and let the kids participate in crafts and activities!


The event is FREE for all, but don't forget our vendors will be set up selling their goodies!

In the Last Month...

The May flowers were in full bloom as we took on the month!


We visited Grantsville Head Start Classrooms for a spring program, attended the Apples for Children Provider Retreat, and Hosted Leadership Allegany's Environment Day.

Then we attended the Mountain Maryland Native Plant Festival at New Germany State Park, hosted several 4th Grade Social Studies field trips, visited 5th graders at Flintstone Elementary for the Nature of Art program, and held our first workshop of year and our annual Spring Festival & Native Plant Sale.
