El Paso Electric (EPE) has been designated as a Best-in-Class employer

EPE stood out as an organization committed to their employees and strategic approach to benefits, Human Resources and compensation, which inclusively engages and motivates their employees.

“This recognition is a testament of the commitment and importance we place on our most important asset – our 1,100 employees, which include members of IBEW Local 960,” said Cheryl Mele, Vice President of Customer and Employee Services. “We take a holistic approach by prioritizing professional development, as well as individual and organizational wellbeing. We’re proud of our talented workforce that is paving the way to transformative outcomes, both within our company and in the communities we serve.”

This designation is a result of Gallagher’s 2023 U.S. Benefits Strategy & Benchmarking Survey, which ranks U.S. organizations based on how they support their employees’ physical, emotional, career and financial wellbeing.
