2024 Arkansas Grown Conference & Expo

Over 500 in Attendance! 💚

Our Extension team had a great time last month at the 2024 Arkansas Grown Conference & Expo in Hot Springs! Here are some pictures of us in action - networking, sharing, educating, and community building. With over 500 people in attendance, it was a great opportunity to be among Arkansas's local foods and agriculture communities.

We thank the Arkansas Department of Agriculture and the Arkansas Grown and Arkansas Made program for organizing and executing a fabulous event and look forward to next year!

Pre-Harvest Agricultural Water Resource

Industry Guidance from the IFPA

The International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) convened a small group of volunteers from members of the IFPA Food Safety Council to develop the resource, Industry Guidance: Pre-Harvest Agricultural Water.

A pending announcement is coming from the FDA on pre-harvest ag water guidance updates, so this resource may change. However, it will help growers understand good agricultural practices to manage safety risks on their farm.
