Project With A Purpose

On Sunday, February 4th & 11th, the kids will be coloring Valentine Bookmarks to give as gifts to the residents at Story Point in Waterville. We want to be sure to have a bookmark for every resident, so we need to complete A LOT of bookmarks.

If you will not be at church on those Sundays, but would like to help in decorating the bookmarks, please contact Stephanie Shelton at [email protected]

We may also need some volunteers to take some extra bookmarks home to finish. If you would be willing to do that, let us know. All bookmarks need to be returned by February 11th.

Troop 101 Commemorates 100 years of Achievement

Sunday, February 18th, will be Scout Sunday. Individuals a part of Troop 101 has been invited to be part of the service.

As part of this incredible occasion, we extend a special acknowledgment to WUMC individuals who have contributed to the scouting legacy throughout the years, including those who attained the esteemed rank of Eagle Scout.

If you, or a family member, were a scout, including receiving the honor of an Eagle scout, we would like to acknowledge you. Additionally, we welcome your reflections on what Scouting has meant to you and the valuable lessons learned. Please share your involvement and insights by submitting comments to the church office at [email protected] or by delivering handwritten notes directly to the office. Your participation would be a significant blessing to our commemorative event.

Youth Alive schedule for February

Feb 17th: Feed My Starving Children Event at UT (11-2pm)

Support for Widows and Widowers

This group is where you can share your experiences with others who have gone through similar loss. Discussions will include dealing with grief issues, learning new coping skills, and searching for answers together.

There is no cost and no need to register.

Every second and fourth Friday of the month at 10:00am in the choir room at Waterville UMC.
