Weekly Newsletter 12/15/2023

Dear Parents,

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you turn...This week our students were thrilled to meet Santa at the school, take photos, and get a free book. I hope you loved the photos we printed for you and the holiday ornaments I made for you with the help of some wonderful parent volunteer elves. Please feel free to share this link to the photo gallery and also download your child's photo. I know you will agree this is much better than the mall Santa. We have had the same Santa for 15 years now and we are so grateful he comes back every year.

Your child is busy making holiday projects and gifts that they will take home next week. Next week we will also hold our annual holiday concert. Parents of VPK and K-2 students are invited to attend. If you can't attend, not to worry, we will film it and post the link to Brightwheel.

The performances will be on Wednesday 12/20, 10:00 for VPK and 10:30 for Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade. The performance will last about 15 minutes.

Next week our VPK and K-2 classes will also have special themed dress up days. Please be sure to read their weekly letters for more details.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our toy drive a huge success. We collected 3 gifts for 22 different children who will have big smiles on their faces Christmas Day.

Please remember we are closed December 25- January 1 and will reopen on January 2nd. As per your payment agreement form, annual tuition is divided into 52 equal payment so even though we are closed there will be a tuition installment draft on your account.

For our VPK and K-2 kids, December 22nd and January 2-5 are considered NON instructional so we will be open for care, but there will be no academics on that day and attendance will not be taken.

We know that many families travel over the winter recess. We are trying to be mindful about not overbuying our organic milk and fresh fruits and vegetables so there is little waste. If you already know that your child will not be attending January 2-5, please let us know by replying to this message so that we can plan our shopping list accordingly.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Beth Rosenthal Davis, Ed.S, NBCT
