Five Things the Chamber Did for Your Business This Past Week

1.We were very excited to help host the 2nd Annual Young Professionals Leadership Conference of NWFL with the Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Niceville & Walton Chambers. The event included Keynote Presentations, Panel Discussions and lots of Networking Opportunities. We appreciate all the sponsors that helped make the event possible.

2.We had a great group join us for our monthly Women 2 Women Connecting that enjoyed a delicious salad from Stripes Pub and Grill and learning more about each other’s personalities!

3.We participated in a panel discussion that was part of the 492d Special Operations Wing/United States Air Force Special Operations School’s “Building Partner Aviation Capacity Seminar” (BPACS). The purpose of the panel was to offer international students a chance to ask questions about how the military engages with civilian businesses and local leadership. 4.We hosted a beautiful Blessing of the Beach led by Pastor Greg Love from First Baptist Church of Navarre. This event is a celebration of the beauty of Navarre Beach and an opportunity for our community to come together to bless the beach for the tranquility it offers to both locals and visitors alike. Our hope is for a safe and prosperous summer season ahead for our community, first responders, and all those who will be enjoying the beach in the months to come. We appreciate everyone that joined us for this special tradition to appreciate and bless the natural beauty that surrounds us.

5.We held our Annual Military Appreciation Commerce & Coffee sponsored by LLG Architecture, LLC. The event was a resounding success, with Guest Speaker Randy Roy, Community Planner & Liaison Officer at NAS Whiting Field, delivering an enlightening update.

A special shoutout to Santa Rosa County Board of County Commission Chair Sam Parker for sharing details about the $10,000 StRIVE Grant opportunity now available to small business owners and commercial property owners.

It was a delight to welcome new members and showcase some of our existing members.

Above all, our hearts were filled with gratitude as we honored the Heroes Among Us - our Navarre Chamber Members and Guests who are currently serving or have served in the military, along with their families. Thank you for your service and sacrifice!
