Advocacy Training Scholarships Available!

VBCF's Karin Decker Noss Scholarship* funds training in legislative advocacy and medical research. 2025 Noss Scholarships are now available to help send volunteer advocates to the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) Advocate Leadership Summit in Washington, DC, May 3-6, 2025. We hope you will consider applying for this exciting opportunity! Find out more below. Applications are due by April 7th.

NBCC’s Advocate Leadership Summit is designed for both aspiring and seasoned breast cancer advocates—including oncology nurses and other members of the oncology heath care and research communities—eager to drive change across public policy, research, and clinical trials. This event equips you with the tools, insights, and mentorship needed to launch or elevate your advocacy career, whether you’re interested in influencing public policy and legislative efforts, collaborating on innovative breast cancer research, or working to improve the design of and access to clinical trials.

You can review the preliminary agenda and workshop session topics HERE.

NBCC's Annual Lobby Day will follow the Summit on May 6th when participants will meet with their elected officials on Capitol Hill to advocate for NBCC's 2025 legislative and policy priorities.
