Exciting News!

Quilters Cupboard Uxbridge

has New Owners

Meet the owners - Don and Norine Robinson. Don is the one on the right.

You've heard the rumours! We are excited to finally announce Quilters Cupboard is under new ownership as of May 4th.

What’s important to you, our valued customers, is that the location is the same and all the current staff are staying with us. No change to our online shop either.

In the coming weeks we will share our vision for Quilters Cupboard and what we see as its role in the community. In the meantime, we encourage you to stop by the shop and say hello and have a look at our new fabrics as they come in. Keep an eye on our website for updates too.

The New Owners

Norine is a retired Pharmacist who started dabbling in quilting when she was 10 years old and

progressed to more creative quilting by taking classes at Quilters Cupboard over a decade ago. She has worked part-time at Quilters Cupboard for almost 8 years.

Don is a retired Electrical Engineer who ran his own business for 18 years. He knows nothing about quilting and he’s colour blind (he calls it “chromatically disadvantaged”!) but he can reach high shelves so that’s useful.

We are native New Brunswickers that have lived in Ontario for over 35 years. We firmly believe that small businesses are vital to the sustainability of our communities and we believe quilting is more than just a hobby.

We look forward to meeting you soon, in the store and online.
