Hello Rick and Maria,

Zentangle's 20th Anniversary celebration would not be complete without honoring one of our most treasured traditions at Zentangle HQ, teatime.

Teatime, which actually predates the birth of Zentangle, is a moment for pause, connection and camaraderie. Every day around 10:00 am, we stop for tea, snacks and conversation.

Traditions play a big role in defining a cultural identity. They provide comfort, a sense of community, continuity and connection. They reinforce relationships and create a sense of unity.

Teatime provides all of these things and more. In a world that moves so quickly, where everything is automated and human connections are often lost, traditions such as teatime are more important than ever.

As we celebrate teatime this month, we will reflect on the philosophies, values and camaraderie that surrounds the Zentangle Method.

Do you have a tradition or ritual in your life that you hold near and dear to your heart? Perhaps something with your family, community or even just for yourself.

As you think about how these rituals and traditions hold us together and surround us with comfort, tangle around your thoughts focusing on borders and border tangles.

We use unique techniques to lace tangles together with strength and harmony, creating an extraordinary web of creativity.
